mwsy's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yup, me again Well I'm off on yet another one of my rants, go see 15 of Jan's Streats paper, page 20. I actually felt like writing in, but I decided to put my response here instead. In the letter "Kieran Cho", talks about a)Ankle socks, b)Guys having long hair, c)Dyeing of hair, d)US schools. A) You talk about ankle socks in your school and your school disciplinarian says that ankle socks are "ungentlemanly", well for the ungentlemany comment I have no say as I cannot define what your disciplinarian defines as "ungentlemanly". But as for the ankle socks, the reason why you have been getting into trouble is becuase you are defying the school rules. The school puts trust into you to OBEY the rules, but you have breached their trust of wearing such low socks. How would you like it if every student had to wear the same pair of socks, supplied by the school, if you didn't wear the correct socks, you would get booked. They allowed you freedom, you instead turned back and defied them. It's like being put on probation for stealing and while one probation, you steal yet AGAIN. B) You want long hair, whatever for? Or are guys finally admitting that being a girl is cool becuase for as long as I can remember, it's the girls who started the long hair thing. Or maybe it's because you want to look like Legolas who seems to have girls all smitten over him, well, I have nothing to say for that except Legolas looks gay to me and some other girls. C) So you wanna dye your hair, well I have no beef with you if you dye it during the school holidays, but honestly, can you imagine what will happen if everyone dyed their hair and went to school just like that? I'm talking about people dyeing their hair, hot pink, purple, platinum blonde, red, green or whatever colours. You won't have a school anymore, you'll have a friggn' circus! D) Well, go to US for all I care! In US you can do a), b) AND c). But you forget. In US you get friggn' shot in school and whatnot. -Melzilla 8:56 p.m. - Thursday, Jan. 15, 2004 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
